According to PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN PIONEERS, a Nicklas Rebell/Rubel immigrated to Philadelphia on the Ship Harle on September 1, 1736. Other immigrants with the same name appear alternately in Pennsylvania records as Ruppel & Rippel. Might this be your immigrant ancestor?
