A biography/family history of Harvey D. Riegel is included in "Progressive Men of the State of Montana". Parents: Solomon and Mary M. (Dunkle) Riegel, natives of Berks County, PA. In Dec 1869, Harvey married Miss Matilda Hedges of Fairfield County, OH. Riegel children: Elmer E., Charles E., Harley (deceased), Anna G. (Mrs. H.A. Burrell), Edith B. (Mrs. Hiram Witherby), Mabel H. (Mrs. H.L. Rohne), Leafy M. (died in infancy).
