I was at an estate sale a few days ago, and I ran across many photo negatives for sale. I thought I would do a good deed and let any researchers know about them. The date stamped on the envelopes (about 6) are all around 1929. There are a few that have little descriptions or dates on them, such as "Riegel Bunch." There is one in an envelope that says "My GGGrandfather" or something to that effect...it is of a headstone of a Wm. and Ellen Dougherty, but the death date is 1941. I'm pretty sure that most of the negatives are indeed from the late 1920's, because the old cars in the photos reflect it, I assume. Anyhow, let me know if I can scan any negatives an send them along to you...maybe someone will recognize the faces or places (like the "Happy Home" or "Silver Moon")!
