I have a large cabinet card of a boy, age 4, named Vernon T. Riegel. He is standing with his dog, Sheppie, per the inscription on back. There is no date on the image, but given the measurements and mat style, it falls around 1910 to 1918 when these cabinet cards waned into non-use. There is no location on the mat. I have found, so far, only one Vernon T. Riegel; born in NE in 1905. Perhaps this is him. That Vernon is son of Thomas M. and Cora J. Storms, according to published online research. If you would like a free scan of this image, just let me know. The original will be available after the publication of the book I am working on in which the image will appear.
