Hello, out there. I am currently helping my father research our family line. I am trying to locate any information on my grandfather (my grandmother's second husband - her name was Bessie Blanche Burpee/Reycraft/Riegel). His name is Irvin Henry Riegel, b. 5/24/1897 in Minnesota. According to the 1930 Census record, he was born in Minnesota (where-city?), his father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother was born in Germany. He was living with my grandmother and my mother at the time of the census in Roseburg, Oregon. My mother was born in Fairfield, Washington. This census report is the only thing that I have been able to come up with at the library under AncestryPlus.Com on Irvin Henry Riegel. I can't believe the size of the Riegel family. WOW is all I have to say. I am new to genealogy and I am mind swept. If there is anyone out there that have heard of or is researching these names above I would really appreciate a follow-up. I am at a loss now as to where to go except to keep on fumbling my way through Riegel information on the web. Of course, I will share anything with anybody if I am able to come up with anything. I just need some direction on this part of the family. Surely would appreciate hearing back from someone on this one. Thanks. Patricia McAllister - Patricia_McAllister2@msn.com
