West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, 10 April, 1942 He received a Doctor of Letters from Oberlin College in 1921. He was a renowned music critic & foreign affairs expert. Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., OH, circa 1868 marital status unknown d. Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH, ??? He was a conductor for the Springfield Street Railway Co. in 1897. He removed to Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1899. no further record Howard K(rum) REGAL (3) b. Hopedale, Harrison Co., OH, 30 April, 1872 m. Grace Brand PHELON, d/o Capt. Henry A. & Grace (BRAND) PHELON, ???, 14 September, 1898 d. West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, 22 January, 1936 i. Park Street Cemetery, West Springfield, MA He was a star sprinter, high jumper, baseball, & football player @ Oberlin College. He was managing editor of The Springfield Republican and one of the best-known newspaper figures in New England. one child Grace G. REGAL (4) b. ???, ??? apparently unmarried d. ???, ??? She was not mentuioned in her father’s obituary (1936). She was mentioned in her ,mother’s obituary (1956). She was a nurse, r. West Springfield, MA, in 1959, 1963, & 1965.
