Benj. D. Riegel was the founder of Riegel Textile during the 1910s, which in the 1980s was bought by Mt Vernon Mills. I have his fishing equipment (the reels are inscribed with his name), his vacuum tube radio, victrola, and his safe (little more than a firebox with a combination). My cousin has his revolver. I was given these things by my father, who received them from BD Riegel's son in law, Germann Emory.
