My emigrant from England to America was
John Wolstencroft christened at Manchester Cathedral (march)
1810 ~ a son of John and Mary Wolstencroft. What I need is his parents certificates. (parents not at the Cathedral)

John Wolstencroft (father) died aged 64,profession Weaver
wife Mary (Wood) (mother) died age 50

I believe his parents were Thomas Woolstencroft b. 31 Dec 1749-at Ringley, Lancashire and married 06 Sep 1778-Deane
to Ann Crompton born 08 Apr 1753-Deane,Lancashire.

I believe her parents were Charles Wood born 1759-Haworth,Lancashire who married 31 Jul 1784-Deane to
Ann Morris born (1763)

I have found one birthdate for Mary(Wood) Wolstencroft
on 10 Dec 1785 ~ so dying at age 50, would be after 10 Dec
1835 to same in 1836.

There is a John born at Dean by Bolton on 14 Jan 1781; however his father is Richard..which does not fit our families naming pattern. and Thomas does fit.

I believe they are probably buried near Deane, Ringley
or Bolton vicinity.

Feel free to post this online, offline or anywhere, grin. I have been working on this problem for almost 40 years. So anything you can do for me will be greatly appreciated.
