Hello Gary,I am searching for my Rea ancestors in Co Down, Ireland. My x4 great grandfather was David Rea bc 1799/1800, from Dundonald and he was married to catherine McCormick. Whilst searching I came across, William Rea christened at ballynahinch presbyterian church, co down, November 5th 1715, married to Sarah also xnd at ballynahinch on Sept 30th 1722, also William rea esq, will probated in Newry, Co Down in 1749.
Whats interesting is that children of David rea bc 1672 (the line I may be from) have also been baptised in ballnahinch, from John Rea in 1705 down to James Rea in 1729. maybe there's a connection. Regards june
