Heres a little more, excerpt from Sandy Norris Teater Ray Collier
1850 Garrard Census HH 161/143
Michael Ray age 58
Martha Ray age 60
Rebecca E. Teeter age 12
Patsy J. Bogie age 12 (dau of Elvira Ray and Andrew Bogie)
George Ray age 5 (may have been son of Joseph Ray)
The only daughter that Michael and Martha had that married a Teeter was Emaline Ray:
Absolom Fletcher Teeter married Emaline Ray 22 Sep 1836;
Bondsman Claibourne C. Teeter; Bk 56. Fletcher Teeter was b. 1815 d. 1907 buried Gunn's Chapel. Emaline was born abt 1816 and d. 14 Sep 1897 and buried Gunn's Chapel.
Rebecca E. Teeter marr Salem Sadler 15 Jan 1855. Salem was murdered 6 Aug 1855. Salem and Rebecca's daughter, Alvira/Elvira was born 27 Nov 1855 after death of Salem. Rebecca then married Zachariah Collier on 25 June 1857 at Michael Ray's house. Bk 6 page 239. Rebecca E. Teeter was b. 3 Sep 1837 and died 29 Jun 1860 and buried at Buckeye Cemetery in Garrard. Zack Collier died Jan 1863. This is why in the 1860 Garrard census, Rebecca and Salem Sadler's daughter, Elvira S., is living with greatgrandparents, Michael and Martha/Patsy Ray:

Sadler, Elvira S. age 14
Elvira Sadler, age 18, married James Day Ray, age 20, 30 Jan 1874; Place of marriage: Mike Ray, Sr; Consent by Michael Ray and Alexander Ray. Bk 11, page 168A.
Elvira and James Ray had a daughter, Patsy B., born 15 Sep 1875.
Elvira S. Ray then dies 25 Feb 1876 and buried Buckeye Cemetery.
Their daughter, Patsy B. Ray, married Wesley Hix on 18 Sep 1890. Place of marriage: J. D. Ray; Bondsman J. D. Ray; Bk 16 page 499.
