Ace: There were several ray family's I found living in them, they were connected the call/saunders family (call white surname, and saunders indian surname) I found an eastern cherokee app (guion miller roll) in its 3rd generation of a william ray married to a polly saunders, they were the guardians of polly's sister rachael call's three children, I ordered it from NARA because one of the children was named henry and was about the same age as my grandfather, the app. was rejected, not because they weren't indian, but because they were niece and nephews and chotaw, not cherokee.....jim
