Looking for information about a Jacob Ray who was born in Georgia. At some point he moved to Tennessee and married a woman named Abigail Guron in 1838 in Meig's County, TN. They had at least three children in TN bet 1840 and 1842: Martha Jane Ray, Isaac Washington Ray, and Ruth A. Ray.
Sometime before 1850 Abigail and the children moved to Arkansas and she remarried to a John N. Neal. I don't know if Jacob and Abigail divorced or if he died or if something else happened.
Any help would be appreciated.
