Susanna Ray married John Cockram 28 Dec 1797 in Garrard Co, KY. Zachariah Ray provided the bond. Some have wondered whether or not she was a daughter of Zachariah. It appears that she was a daughter.
She and John moved to Christian/Todd Co, KY, showing up on the 1810 census and remaining until just about 1830. In 1819, their son Thomas Cockram married in Christian CO, KY. The bondsman was Stanton Fitzgerrel, brother in law to Elizabeth Ray, brother to James Fitzgerrel. Elizabeth, b. ca 1795, was a daughter of Zachariah.
John and Susanna's daughter Betsey married Nathanial Wyatt and their first born son was named Zachariah Rea Wyatt.
Susanna Ray, according to census records, was born between 1771 and 1780. If in 1780, she would be the oldest daughter found so far as I know.
According to the 1810 Garrard KY census , Mary (Benge)Ray was born before 1765, so it is possible that there are even older children, but not by much.
