You will want to include "The Sol Ray Gap Location" when you access the East Carolina University Joyner Library:

"Sol Ray Gap - Fines Creek - 353748N 0825913W"

It appears according to the University:

"Sol Ray Gap" {Named for Solomon RAY, son of John RAY, b ca 1772, VA} and "Fines Creek" are in close proximity.
