The records are there - sorting them out - is another thing.

The 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840 and 1850 Haywood Co., NC., Federal Census Records all show true for John RAY, b ca 1772 Va., d After 1850 {1} and his Family. Certainly, he would not of been of age, to have served in the Revolutionary War.
