I am astonished, how some of those later Scotch-Irish Immigrants, who came down The Valley of Virginia, managed to preserve their Family Histories. Another example, which I am very grateful for, is the Wigton-Walker {John WALKER m Katherine RUTHERFORD} Chronicle. Family was important and they truly cared where they came from.
You no doubt know about the - "Incorrect Lineages" - posted on the World-Wide Web - for the John RAY/RHEA m Hannah HASTY Family. Since I don't have the book and you do, your help is invaluable in providing the right information to the true descendants of "The Family".
Please accept my apologizes for failing to include the year of the murder of Joseph RAY {of Washington Co., VA} - by the Indians - in my posting - "It Was In 1783".
