I have researched that Moses Wray. I think it was William or Moses Wray Jr that ended up in Wilkes co ga. I found a site on Rootsweb World Connect that listed a Moses Wray with sons William,Thomas,Moses and George Wray. They were sll born in the 1740's just like my George Wray was. Thomas Wray married Elizabeth Alcey Whitson in the 1760's in Albemarle co Va. Rember some researchers believe that the parents of William Wray and John Wray who received land grants in the late 1720's in Brunswick co Va were the sons of William Wray and Mary Whitson. The were born about 1799. Francis Wray also received a land grant about that time but I don't beleive he was their son. Willism Wray born about 1700 always signed his name William Wray Jr. He was married to an Anne. Thomas Wray and Alcey Whitson went to Wilson co Tn. I should say they went to Tn and the very larg county they lived in divided and a new county was formed and then another county was formed from that county and them Wilson co Tn was formed from that county if I remeber right. Anyway they ended up in Wilson co Tn. This is the only site I have ever seen that shows George listed as a son of a Moses Wray and brothers William and Moses and Thomas. I tried to contact the person that posted the info but they never replied. There of course is the chance that the researcher got the William and Thomas and Moses Jr mixed up and listed them as the sons of a different Moses Weray alsthough I did some research and Thomas Wray and Alcey Whitson did lived in Wilson co Tn and he died in 1829 I believe and she died in the early 1830's. This Moses Wray research is very confusing. Thomas Wray had sons Solomon and Samuel and other children and my George had sons Solomon,Samuel and Mark Wray and probably other children. Thanks,Ross
