Thanks for the info. I jut found the informtiaon you posted. I guess Genforum does not notify you when you have a message like Rootsweb does or at least it does not notify me so I have to go to Genforum to look at the messages that have been posted. I know William Ray's wife was named Anne. I know he had sons Baker and William Jr. He digned his name William Wray Jr but of course if his father died he then would have been senior. I believe that since he alsways signed his name William Wray Jr and not William Ray Jr that it is probably a different William. Thanks, Ross
