Richard: In looking at the LDS records for martin ray there are only 4 different martin rays in floyd co, one was an immigriant born 1828 in prussia, who had a son born in 1859, and that martin had a son martin ray born in 1877, the last one is my kin he was born in 1842, his father and mother were james l. ray and lucinda ray, if that's any help, it could account for extra martin ray marriages, I've not had any luck with other info...good luck....jim
