Ross thats correct if you go through Lyman Chackleys
Scotch Irish Chronicles on Augusta Co, many examples of what you are saying are listed.
Only one problem the Brittish burned many of our Court Houses
Bad for genealogy, so there lost forever.
I am working on a special project now, many rays were french
huguenots and landed in New York 1st with the Dutch reformist
from Brazil and the Carribbean they came to Virginia later.
