George Ray or Wray in Lunenburg co Va in 1776

Would anyone know who the George Ray or Wray was that was living in Lunenburg co Va in 1776? He is listed as paying 4 tithes in 1776 in Lunenburg co Va. My George Wray sold his Brunswick co Va land in 1776 so maybe that was my George Wray or Ray. I thought as first that it might have been the George Wray who married Mary Webster and they went to Stokes co NC but they married in Bedford co Va in 1778 so this was a different George Ray.
