My John RALPH, born about 1743, was from Yorkshire, England.

He later removed to Charleston, South Carolina, where he died of yellow fever in 1801.

He was a cabinet maker / furniture maker.

His first wife Ann, was the mother of his children. She died in 1792 and he subsequently married Jane.
1) Tamson RALPH married John ADDISON in 1784 in Charleston, South Carolina, USA
2) Mary RALPH married William RICHARDS in 1787
3) Margaret Addison RALPH married Thomas HAM in 1791
4) a son (nothing further known.

A section of the publication entitled "Charleston Furniture, 1700-1825" gives a good overview of John RALPH and his life in South Carolina.

From SIAU/ADDISON Family Bible:
Ann Ralph Poyas, niece of Tamson [Ralph] Addison departed this live 13 August 1814.

I would like to learn more of other descendants of John RALPH. I would like to have more information about both of his wives, and I would like to learn something of his ancestry in England.

SURNAMES: RALPH POYAS HAM RICHARDS ADDISON SIAU
