Thanks for your response. Here is what I have:
THE FAMILY OF JOHN RALPH AND SARAH SMITH RALPH
1. *Linsey Ralph was born March 8, 1842, in South Carolina. Linsey married Nancy Clementine Gant about 1859-60 in South Carolina. In 1860 census of Spartanburg, South Carolina, they are living with John and Sarah Ralph. They were in Giles County, Tennessee censuses in 1870 and 1880. Linsey died October 8, 1886, in Giles County, Tennessee.
2. William W. Ralph was born about 1844-45 in South Carolina. William married
Salina ?? This couple was later in Texas and Oklahoma.
3. Harriet F. (Hattie) Ralph was born about 1848 in South Carolina. She married Thomas Lawson Houser Jan. 11, 1872, in Lincoln County, North Carolina. They moved to South America where Hattie died, along with her infant son.
4. Susan Ralph was born about 1852 in South Carolina. She is still with parents in 1870 census.
5. Albert Ralph was born about 1855-57 in South Carolina. He married Sarah (Brown). In 1880 census of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Albert and Sarah are living with John and Sarah Ralph. They are in Tippah County, Mississippi in 1900 and 1910.
THE FAMILY OF LINSEY W. (WALTON??) RALPH AND NANCY CLEMENTINE GANT RALPH
1. Sallie A. Ralph was born 12 Dec. 1860 in South Carolina. She married John M. Russell. Sallie died 24 Jan. 1935 in Morgan County, Alabama. Buried at Pines Cemetery (AKA Russell Family Cemetery) Morgan County, Alabama.
2. *John Anderson (Joe) Ralph was born Feb. 1, 1866 in South Carolina. He married Susan Anna Mary Blevins Sept. 7, 1892, Morgan County, Alabama. John Anderson died Feb. 5, 1950, Cullman County, Alabama. Buried Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Morgan County, Alabama.
3. William Gorham (Mack) Ralph was born about 1868 in Tennessee. He married Amanda (Mandy) Knighten in Cullman County, Alabama on March 11, 1894. William died in Morgan County, Alabama, on March 21, 1954. Buried Center Grove, Morgan County, Alabama
4. Susan Elizabeth (Susie) Ralph was born 16 August 1872 in Tennessee. She married Alvin Columbus Johnson in Morgan County, Alabama, Nov 29, 1894. Susan Elizabeth is buried at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Morgan County, Alabama.
5. Hattie Lee Ralph was born 20 July, 1875 in Giles County, Tennessee. She married Coleman A. Johnson on 30 Dec. 1894 in Morgan County, Alabama. She also married John Foster and possibly a Marsh.
Hattie L. Ralph Foster died 28 Nov. 1943 in Jefferson, Kentucky.
I'm wondering if your Albert is Albert, the son of John Ralph, or Albert, the son of Linsey's son William.
I'm interested in sharing family info. Also, any corrections or additions to the above information is welcome. I have unproven information concerning parents of John Ralph from South Carolina.
