I have more information I have just received on this family. Walker Cemetery South Woodstock, Town of Woodstock, Vermont Phineas Ralph Killed at Bridgewater in the Fall of a tree July 3, 1820. He is buried in the same family plot with his parents and a brother. Evidently his wife Charlotte________ went to Ellington, New York shortly after his death. The one land record I have for there is for a Phineas Ralph, and I assumed it to be Senior. However, now realize it was for Phineas Ralph (jr.) There is also a Sybil Ralph married Charles Arvin on 1 January 1815, both of Windsor, Vermont. Now, I am curious if this is my Sybel previously listed who was married to Caleb Freeman. Also on 11 Sept. 1809 Phinious Ralph, wife and children were issued a Warning Out, for Warren, Vt. They are still shown there in 1810 census, but must have moved back to Woodstock/Bridgewater area shortly after. It is interesting that Charlotte Ralph is shown on the 1830 census for Ellington, NY next to Caleb Freeman. She moved there with her children after her husbands death and did she move with other relatives, I am still trying to track down her maiden name?
