Sarah Gant (age 40) was in Pickens County South Carolina census of 1850, listed in John Harris household.John's wife's name Elizabeth. I'm presuming Gant is a married name. Sarah Gant had twin daughters--Jemima Ann and Nancy Clementine. They are 11 years old in the census. Nancy Clementine married Linsey Ralph and Jemima Ann Married Robert M. DeYoung. Sarah Gant was in Spartanburg South Carolina in 1860 with the John Ralph family. She was in Giles County, Tennessee in 1880 with R.M. DeYoung family. The DeYoungs moved on to Madison County, Alabama, and Nancy C. Gant Ralph ended up in Morgan County, Alabama.
I'm looking for possible spouse of Sarah Gant as well as for her parents. John and Elizabeth Harris could be Sarah's parents, but I don't know that for sure. Help will be appreciated. Jo Ann
