Well Hello. It looks like we might be cousins on 2 levels. My grgr grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Ralph (1840-1934). And, my grgrgrandfather was Phillip Hidy (1839-1921). I think your James Kennedy Ralph is my Sara Elizabeth's brother, maybe. Or, maybe they were cousins? My Sarah Elizabeth Ralph was born in New Jersey to Francis A. Ralph and Elizabeth T. (last name unknown). 1850 Federal Census for Ocean, Monmouth Co, NJ shows Francis, Elizabeth, Aaron, Sarah, Ann, James, and Rebecca. Does this sound familiar? Except you say your James' mother was an Anne?? Well, whatever. So, James married Elizabeth Jane Hidy in Jackson Co, Mo. (I am sure she is my grgr grandfather's sister) I don't have any of their childrens names. Would love to share info.
