Robert Rae: Possibly Glasgow anywhere from 1860 to 1910 then Zimbabwe (Rhodesia)

There was a Robert Rae that emigrated from Scotland to Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) possibly in around 1900-1910. I believe this Robert was from Glasgow although some new evidence I've come across suggests a small possibility he was from Edinburgh. Robert had a son Frank who is my grandfather. I'm interested to connect any dots between Robert Rae and relatives.
