Thanks for your reply re Alexander Rae born 1909 Edinburgh. This is my grandfather, my fathers' father who married twice, second time to my grandmother, Ellen Beatrice Rae and they had two children, Bruce, my dad and Lyndsay, My aunt. Alexanders' first marriage was to a Majorie Bland and they had a son called Ian. We would love to trace him as my father and aunt last saw him when he was 15 yrs approx. when Alexander and Ellen and their family were emmigrating from England to New Zealand in the 50s after world war two. Do you think this Alexander could be part of your family still? He was born in 1909, Edinburgh, does this info. match??? Thanks
