Where in South Dakota did they settle. My grgrgrandfather Peter Raber was born in Penn, he was later in Indiana (married in Nobelsville, Hamilton County). The Census had him and his family there up till 1960. They resurfaced in Illinois, then Nebraska, settling in Wyoming, right across the state line of SD. There is a John Peter Raber son of John Jacob Raber that lived in Spearfish, Lawrence County, SD. I did not know this before, otherwise I would have researched it better. Don't know if this helps, but I hope it does...kim
