I'm trying to find the names of Conrad and Elizabeth Raber's children.They lived in Ohio -around Stark County.conrad died in 1826 at age 27.Elisabeth remarried in 1831.
I'm really hoping they are the parents of my great grandfather-George Raver born in 1822.The family story was that our name was changed from Raber to Raver so my great grandfather could draw his Civil War pension.
I have seen his name listed as John George Raver- but he was always known as George in our family.
I appreciate any help as this branch of my family tree seems to be lost.
