I have a family history book written by Horace Rabb in 1930 that states the following:

"Robert Rabb, who died in 1817, was the ancestor of William H. Rabb and Eber Rabb, JR. (formerly of Winnsboro, SC), whose father was Eber A. Rabb , SR. and whose grandfather was Thomas A. Rabb, and Whose great grand father was Robert Rabb."

This is not the clearest writing, but it conveys the info you are looking for.

Robert Rabb immigrated from belfast(but originally scotland) in 1774. His brothers were Alexander and William.

I hope this helps,

Jim
