Thanks for replying. what I have discovered is that Onano appears to hold the key - but everyone I know has drawn a blank. It seems that short of going to Onano or to Viterbo, getting information out of Italy is next to impossible. I found the Rome State Archives very helpful for information about the Pacelli's in Rome.
