I think you've got Merchant's Hope pretty well located.

My greatx7 grandfather owned the plantation starting at

Powell Cr running n &e bordering Merchant's Hope. The

Merchant's Hope Church was smack-dab in the middle on the

northern border of the 550a parcel of Baker's land.

George, Richard, John Pace all owned land in that area

from 1616 on.
