I am attempting to trace all my direct lines. I am now at Pace and Moore. I descend from Tabitha Pace who was the daughter of Richard Pace who died in Bertie Co. N.C. 1737/38.
I have gone through most of the postings here and sifted through other sites. I seem to get myself more confused than enlightened researching this line. I am aware of the many controversies. What I would like to know is just what is known about my ancestor Richard Pace. Is his parentage known? And while I have the chance, I want to commend all you people out there who are doing such a fantastic job of damage control with all the misinformation about this line.
