Hi James

Yeah. William's proposed linage is anomalous. He was not listed as a child of Richard and Sarah. The anomaly is mentioned in the recent narrative on the Pace Soc web. There are also conflicting lineages listed in dna group 3a.
The relationship of John the tory to Richard and Sarah may become more delineated if and when more NC Paces are dna tested. The definitive paperwork that would prove the direct relationship of either group 3a or 3b to Richard of Jamestown will likely never be found, but the speculation and discussion is certainly fun. If you haven't read the Pace soc 7 Jul 2009 narrative re dna results, its quite informative. I believe they answer a question you sent to them.
Keep on looking!
