The problem is, that lineage doesn't explain where William Pace (will proved ca. 1845 Montgomery Co TN) fits in.

The DNA of his descendants matches with the descendants of John Pace of Surry Co, so they must share a common ancestor. Who is the person who is an ancestor of John Pace of Surry Co, and is also an ancestor of William Pace of TN, but is not an ancestor of Group 3A?

That's the problem with the theory, it seems to me.
