I first checked the Veterans Administration site to see if he was burried in any military cemetery. I did not find anything listed for him. I next checked the National WWI Memorial Registry site: http://www.wwiimemorial.com

Info came from the National Archives records.
It did not mention that he was buried overseas, but he could be. I next checked the USGenWeb site for Rapides Parish Archives Cemetery List and found nothing. Then I checked the rest of the Louisiana Archives and found his obit: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/winn/obits/p/pacech45.txt
So, I also checked the Winn Parish Archives Cemetery List and did not find anything listed for him either.
You might check several places: (1) Write to the Veterans Administration and ask if they have any further information on him. They have a form that you can fill out on their site. (2) You can call or write or e-mail the Alexandria or Winnfield newspaper to see if they have anything else on him in their "Dead" files. Since you have a date for his death and some of his obit information, they might be able to find more for you. (3) Also you might contact someone from the local history and genealogy societies in the Rapides and Winn Parish areas. They should be able to help or direct you too.
