Dna results for PA relatives
Posted by: Dale Pase (ID *****1220) Date: February 10, 2009 at 14:06:09

I had my dna tested and found that I go back to the Pace and Pees surnames from Germany. I cannot connect my family tree to anyone else's family tree that traces their ancestry back to Germany Can anyone help make that connection. My oldest known ancestor is Jacob Pase born 1828 in Pennsylvania. The oral history of the family is that they landed in Philadelphia, PA sometime before 1800. The family was in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania in 1860. The name on the 1860 census for Clearfield spelled the name Place. The name has been spelled Pase since 1870.
