James, I am fairly new researcher and relying on info online. The LDS site has lots of info (but not too reliable) on the Paces but it seems that Richard Pace born in Eng. 1583 and came to Jamestown was married to Isabella Smythe whose father was listed as John Smith. Is it possible that is the same one famed in song and story with Pocahantas?
