Hardy Pace -Soldier in revolutionary war

We know Hardy Pace was a soldier in the Revolutionary War (DAR). He had a son William (Billy) who was married (1805) to Martha (Patsy) Shaw. Born 1784. They had a son William Hackney Pace Born July 28,1821 in North Carolina, died April 25,1900 in Cheatham Co.,TN. QUESTION????? Does anyone know where Hardy Pace came from? Thank you, Scott Pace
