I had an old leather bound photo album filled with photos of a variety of different looking people,taken in different studios;some local and some much further away. I assumed that they were relations of mine even though none had the "family face". However I was told that these albums were sold filled with sample photos and I definitely felt this was the case with mine.It may be the same with your books.
