I am trying to research my late fathers side of the family, born in 1925 in Cork, my father lved in Cork City. I recall as a small child visiting his family and arriving by boat from the UK. He had a brother called William, who served on P&O cruise liners operating through Hong Kong, his parents were Timothy and Margaret O'Connell.
My late father went to live in the UK and did national service with the RAF from 1945-1948.
The Cork family home may have been O'Brien Street in Cork.
Does anyone know either my late father, his brother or recall the family residing in Cork City?
It is possible that there were other siblings that I am not aware of, so any useful information would be of interest.
