I have a Rebecca Holland born ca 1800, daughter of John Holland. She died after 1870.
She was married to William Cain II, born ca 1790-1. He had changed his name from O'Cain to Cain along with his brothers, after the death of their father.
Their son,Joseph J. Cain, was born 1832 and died Nov. 29 1862- serving in the Civil War. According to the " Roll of Honor"
South Carolina Archives, he was with the S.C. Volunteers, Co. H - Reg. Inftry. Div.)
NOTE: Joseph had a twin sister Mary Sabrina Cain. she died ca 1859. She was married to John Williams.
