CAIN FAMILY TREE ., shows the cain family living in halifax district[martin county], n.c. as early as 1780.It says william ocain , wife joyce, may have come from ireland. William dropped the o from his name and used cain and there is a cain township in s.c. Try www.geocities.com/wmokeette/cain.html I am still looking for george g ocain born 1806 in s,c, and died 1877 in ms. Anything on this family would be appreciated, thanks.
