I'm just starting this quest. I know my grandfather John Dale his brothers John Fred, and Leo Patrick, were from Arkansas, but that's as far as it goes. Well I'm almost sure that my great grandfather came over on the boat from Ireland, but it's a shame that I don't even know his name. Somewhere along the line I heard that my great-grandfather had a brother and he settled in one of the Carolinas. But.. like I said I can't be sure.
