There's a Sylvia O'Cain Trapp that lives or lived in Columbia. She was born in 1936 and likely was in an orphanage. Her mother killed her father (Lindo J. O'Cain) in 1939. I can imagine the children were placed in an orphanage for some time afterwards. Look her or her husband James up in the phone book. A phone number didn't jump out at me, but a more in-depth search or a few phone calls to Trapps in the the Columbia area might help to locate her.
