Looking for any information on Merville(Mike)Kane, or his family. Merville's DOB was 1/29/1919, in Platteville, WI. DOD 8/2/1987, Columbus, North Carolina. Merville's father was Charles Kane 1871-1952, of Platteville, WI. Mother, Alice L. Unknown. Grandfather was Benjamin Cardy Kane (Cain)1832(TN or KY)-1885(WI); grandmother: Sarah Jane Snow. Gr. Grandfather was Bartlett Cain (O'Cain), married to Lydia Unknown.
Judging from the information I've found so far, it looks like Merville moved around quite a bit, and had several marriages. He was married to my mother, married another woman from Wisconsin, appears to have had two daughters in Northbrook Il, and later moved to North Carolina. Would love to hear from any of the relatives, as we're quite interested in the historical, as well as medical genealogy.
