My GGrandfather was named Presley J. O'Bannon, from somewhere in Ohio or thereabouts................however it seems he abandoned that name and family and moved to Appleton City, MO. and started a new life under the name of Thomas Clarence Brown..............so I doubt there is any connection to your Missouri O'Bannons.
