Hi Toshi and Roxana:

Roxana: What location is your family from Mexico. Do you know the city, hacienda. My family is from Sauz de Los Marques, Northern Jalisco bordering Zacatecus. So far I've researched our Muro line 7 generations and found most in Jalisco and Zacatecus. We also have family in California, KS and MO.

Toshi: I have found that the Muro name comes from Italy, Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru and Japan. It will be fun to find out where it really orginates, however I found out that someone told me I will be quite surprised and find out out it's probably Peru, thousands and thousands of years back. I have a feeling I will trace my line from Mexico back into Spain and then possibly Italy and who knows where from that point, could be Peru. It's kind of neat to think there may have been a group of brothers somewhere that were heading for an adventure and maybe split up in search of new discoveries and ended up in several different places. Keep me posted if you find anything out too.

Carol
