thank you sara for that helpful information. carol, i am in the states. i know exactly where jerez is. i have lots of family there and still keep in touch w/most of them but where i get lost is that no one seems to know when my family began and when they got to zacatecas. my grandfather is florencio muro from calera, zacatecas. he and my grandmother have eleven children and then there are like 40 grandchildren, including me. i'm the oldest female grandchild. i don't know if i have any family in jerez, i don't think so. i know my grandfather was born in calera and his father was also from there, only i can't think of his name at the present moment. hope this is useful to you.
